We were supposed to meet friends at the park/beach but got stood up.  That really doesn't matter, we have fun anyway.

A day at the beach has become tradition when the kids' friend Emma comes to town.

Just another day.  Ashton and Uncle Jeremy at lunch.  Yes, he did wear that stupid wig the whole time we were out.

Yesterday was and Ashton/Daddy day.  First they went to clean the park with people from church,  then they went to McDonalds (ewww.)  Then, oh-my-gosh, they went shooting.  Ashton shot a .22 for the first time.  He did pretty good too.  they brought home the target and he only missed three shots from 25 feet.  They had a blast!

Alayna has stated a new ballet class and is so far the only student.  So she is getting personal instruction for the same price as a class.  Can't beat that.

Ashton finally lost that top tooth.  We thought that it would come out before the bottom one he lost in January.  he pulled it out himself and was very shocked when it popped out.  He said "my tooth came out"  and we thought he was joking, but he looked at us with a gaping hole in his face.  There was quite a bit of blood that he wasn't expecting, but it was over quickly.  Now his other two front teeth are loose.

Don't worry, it's fake.  It was "night of great affliction" at AWANAs.
We have found a way to avoid paying pricy gym membership fees.  Go to the mall...  The kids play on the escalator and the adults can do the stairs.  Gym and child care.
Ok, seriously...who remembers garbage pail kids from the 80s.  I never really collected enough.  But, wouldn't you know it, I grew up and had two of my very own.

Ashton had his last basketball game on Saturday.  He even made two shots.  Well, one basket didn't count because it was after another player and the other was a sympathy shot.  The coach and ref kept making sure he got the ball until he made the basket.  He is just happy to have finally made a basket.
