Ashton really likes trying to go on roller coasters by himself. This one is "Gadget's Go-Coaster." It is kind of wimpy. He tried "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" too, and let me tell you, that was really something. He really wanted to be brave so he insisted that he ride that one alone. He was so excited when he got on, he put his hands up and everything, but around the second turn his hands flew down and he held on for dear life. When the ride was over he admitted that he didn't like going alone and next time he wanted to ride with me.

We went to Disneyland again yesterday while daddy stayed home to work on projects. When we go without daddy Ashton and Alayna get to ride by themselves. We went to Toon Town first and toured the houses, something we haven't done before. Minnie's house was fun... until Minnie came in Alayna saw her and ran out screaming and Minnie followed. I so wish I had my camera on the video setting then. After that they really didn't want to go in any more houses, but we did. We did quite a few rides and many things we haven't done before. It struck me last week that there is still a lot we haven't done. We have until Feb. 6 to do it all! Wish us luck.

Yup. Leave it to my kids to break the rules at Disneyland. Daddy and Alayna went on the jungle cruise while Ashton and I went on Indiana Jones. When we got off the ride I saw Alayna waiting for us. I was struck instantly by the humor in what I saw. When I tried to take a picture of Alayna on the rocks in front fo the "No climbing on the rocks" sign Ashton was already on his way up.

Happy New Year! We are eagerly awaiting all the blessings that God has in store for us in 2009. Shawn and I had a great time at Krystle's party last night but really, we should not stay out until 5 in the morning. Praise be to God for keeping us safe. Not only did we have to be alert for crazy drunk drivers, but the fog was so thick we could see at most 50 feet.
